Ali is a PhD Candidate in the Social Dimensions of Health at the University of Victoria where her research focusses on disability, sex work, mutual aid, and resistance to sex work stigma and ableism. She is currently working on a full-length graphic novel about the creation of her research project $queal: Disabled Whore Stories (the risoprint zine is currently available for purchase).
